Grieving a loss

Contact Holly to build a Labyrinth in your community or in your own garden. See gallery photos.

Unlike a maze that has many dead ends and can cause confusion and fear; Walking a labyrinth's single winding pathway offers an opportunity to connect with self, others, nature and/or higher power, simply by putting one foot in front of the other.

Significant long-term health benefits can be   experienced with regular walking meditation. These include eliciting the "relaxation response", which reduces blood pressure, decreases heart rate, & muscle tension.  Reduced incidence of chronic pain, insomnia and infertility have been found.( Dr. Herbert Benson, Harvard Mind/Body Medical Institute, 2005.) The relaxation response has also been found to  counteract several stress related disease processes such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Alheimer's, Depression, Schizophrenia and anxiety (T. Esch et al, Medical Science Monitor, 2003).

"There are many ways to walk the Labyrinth, ways as unique as each person who comes to walk."

Perhaps you are looking for a chance to celebrate, explore, to feel joyful and connected?
Do you feel a need for balance, meaningful activity, mindfulness and reconnection to what is really important  to you?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions, this is your opportunity to try a tool that can lead to making healthy changes in your life.

Holly offers several workshops using the Labyrinth as a Health & Wellness tool for clients of all ages.

Are you struggling to keep up with the expectations of Daily Life? Juggling, work, family, friends, unending commitments with no peaceful time for yourself? Overwhelmed? Stressed?
Or maybe you are finding yourself at a loss, with too much time on your hands? Not feeling motivated? Not sure what direction to take?

Holly will also provide one to one OT assessment and treatment using walking Labyrinths or Finger Labyrinths depending on client needs

Some reflect on meaning and purpose, problem solve, make decisions, set goals, grieve, pray, feel feelings and identify needs, find their creative heart, dance or celebrate!

Come and experience the Labyrinth....

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful that the risk it took to blossom."
